Corsair AI Workstation 300 (64 GB)

AMD machine: AMD Ryzen AI Max 385, 64 GB memory, 48 GB for the GPU, 256 GB/s memory speed, about 3.9 tok/s on a 70B model (estimate).

77.7Score

  • #34 of 41 ranked
  • #16 of 18 AMD machines

Why this score

The score adds up these parts. Each part has a weight. A part counts as the average of its sources, pulled toward 80 when there are few sources.

  1. AI power

    50% weightcounts as 77.5

    Average of 2 sources: 76.3

  2. Experts

    30% weightcounts as 76.4

    Average of 1 source: 72.8

  3. Users

    20% weightcounts as 80.0

No sources found yet. No data yet. This part counts as 80.

Thin: only 1 review or buyer rating, so it is pulled toward the average.

80 is the field average. A part counts as 80 + (average − 80) × N ÷ (N + 1), where N is its number of sources. One source counts half of the gap from 80. No sources count as 80.

Notes

A 4.4 L box with USB4 and 2.5 GbE; the 128 GB model has the same 395 chip as the other boxes. The 64 GB model has the smaller Max 385 chip with 32 GPU compute units and only 48 GB for the GPU on Windows, so it cannot hold 70B Q4 plus long context well. Tom's Hardware found AI speed behind rivals and fans loud under load, and the box is not sold in Austria.

Chips differ by config: 64 GB = Ryzen AI Max 385 (8 cores, Radeon 8050S, no FP16 figure read), 128 GB = Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (16 cores, Radeon 8060S). Volume: Corsair says 4.4 L; Guru3D gives 96.5 x 188.4 x 247.5 mm, which is 4.50 L. Power supply: 300 W (Corsair listing, retailers) vs 350 W (Guru3D, forum). OS: Windows 11 Home on the Corsair US page, Windows 11 Pro on a Corsair category page. The 64 GB bandwidth assumes the 256-bit bus that HP QuickSpecs show for 385-class builds (8 LPDDR5x packages at 8000 MT/s). Prices: US list prices moved a lot (launch 1,599 and 2,299 USD; now 1,699.99 and 3,399.99 or higher); a Corsair DE store page showed EUR 4,999.99 with an inconsistent CPU label, so it is not used. Corsair's own gpt-oss-120b claim (35 tok/s, no test setup) and a speed run from another Strix Halo box were dropped. GPU memory follows AMD's Variable Graphics Memory rule for every box with this chip (75% of RAM: 48 GB on 64 GB, 96 GB on 128 GB); tuned Linux figures are in the GPU memory note. FP16 TFLOPS is AMD's figure for the chip.
