  • #2 of 18 AMD machines

Why this score

The score adds up these parts. Each part has a weight. A part counts as the average of its sources, pulled toward 80 when there are few sources.

  1. AI power

    50% weightcounts as 80.7

    Average of 2 sources: 81.1

  2. Experts

    30% weightcounts as 83.9

    Average of 2 sources: 85.9

  3. Users

    20% weightcounts as 80.0

No sources found yet. No data yet. This part counts as 80.

Thin: only 2 reviews and buyer ratings, so they are pulled toward the average.

80 is the field average. A part counts as 80 + (average − 80) × N ÷ (N + 1), where N is its number of sources. One source counts half of the gap from 80. No sources count as 80.

Notes

Tall triple-fan redesign of the EVO-X2 with 128 GB only, an OCuLink port for an external GPU and 2.5 GbE. No independent power, noise or tokens/s measurements were found yet, and it costs EUR 3,499.99 at the maker's EU shop.

Launch date conflicts in coverage seen in search results: early access 22 June and global launch 29 June 2026 versus an official launch on 6 July 2026 (June chosen as the earliest sale). Geizhals links its Tom's Hardware review entry to a wrong URL (a DeepCool cooler review); the title reads 'GMKtec Evo-X3 review: Strix Halo in a brand new suit' and the review itself could not be opened. The maker page lists power modes of 54/85/115 W (peak 140 W), which are TDP settings, not wall power. Tom's Hardware's 80/100 is Geizhals' normalised value, read via Geizhals. OS: the box pages read name none, so the list is AMD's Windows and Linux support for the chip; a Notebookcheck headline shows SteamOS running on it. GPU memory follows AMD's Variable Graphics Memory rule for every box with this chip (75% of RAM: 48 GB on 64 GB, 96 GB on 128 GB); tuned Linux figures are in the GPU memory note. FP16 TFLOPS is AMD's figure for the chip.
