Specs
- Chip
- AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8700GE
- CPU
- 8 cores / 16 threads (Zen 4, 35 W TDP), Radeon 780M 12 CU
- Memory
- 32 GB
- GPU memory
- 16 GBNo AMD Variable Graphics Memory on this chip (AMD introduced it with the Ryzen AI 300 series). Windows' documented limit for system memory used by graphics (Microsoft, 'Calculating Graphics Memory') is MIN(80% of RAM, MAX(RAM - 16 GB, 50% of RAM)) = 16 GB on 32 GB of RAM. No BIOS UMA maximum for this box was found, so the Windows figure is used. Tuned Linux GTT is not used: a GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus (same Radeon 780M) with 64 GB ran a 26B model with amdgpu.gttsize=49152 (48 GB) and ttm.pages_limit=12582912 (blog.pastwind.org).

Notes
Business 1.2 L desktop with 3-year on-site warranty and replaceable DDR5 SO-DIMMs, so 32 GB is easy to get and gives a 16 GB iGPU share, but the Radeon 780M and about 83 GB/s make it a slow small-model box. Only 1 GbE and no USB4.
ServeTheHome reviewed a M75q Tiny Gen 5 with a Ryzen 7 PRO 8700G part in a 96 GB DDR5-5600 setup (review dated 3 Mar 2025) and gives no numeric score; the page text read stops before the power and noise section, so idle power, load power and noise are blank. This shop SKU has DDR5-5200, so memory speed is 83.2 GB/s, not the 89.6 GB/s of DDR5-5600. Geizhals 'Gelistet seit' for this SKU is 26 Aug 2025; the model's release month was not read. Lenovo's newer M75q Gen 6 (Ryzen AI PRO 400) starts at EUR 1,139 for 16 GB in Lenovo's German shop and +EUR 360 for 32 GB (Notebookcheck news, 8 Sep 2026), i.e. about EUR 1,499 derived; no shop page with a 32 GB price was read, so it is not listed. Memory speed source: Geizhals: 32 GB DDR5-5200, 2 x 16 GB SO-DIMM, dual channel x 128 bit = 83.2 GB/s.
