- #19 of 37 AMD machines
Why this score
The score adds up these parts. Each part has a weight. A part counts as the average of its sources, pulled toward 80 when there are few sources.
AI power
50% weightcounts as 78.1Average of 2 sources: 77.1
Experts
30% weightcounts as 81.9Average of 1 source: 83.8
Users
20% weightcounts as 80.0No sources found yet. No data yet. This part counts as 80.
Thin: only 1 review or buyer rating, so it is pulled toward the average.
80 is the field average. A part counts as 80 + (average − 80) × N ÷ (N + 1), where N is its number of sources. One source counts half of the gap from 80. No sources count as 80.

- 48 GBNo AMD Variable Graphics Memory on this chip (AMD introduced it with the Ryzen AI 300 series). Windows' documented limit for system memory used by graphics (Microsoft, 'Calculating Graphics Memory') is MIN(80% of RAM, MAX(RAM - 16 GB, 50% of RAM)) = 48 GB on 64 GB of RAM. No BIOS UMA maximum for this box was found, so the Windows figure is used. Tuned Linux GTT is not used: this exact box (64 GB) ran a 26B model with amdgpu.gttsize=49152 (48 GB) and ttm.pages_limit=12582912, BIOS VRAM 8 GB (blog.pastwind.org, Ubuntu 24.04).

Notes
A 26B mixture-of-experts model ran at about 20 tokens per second on the 64 GB build with 48 GB of Linux GTT. 0.96 L, two USB4, OCuLink and dual 2.5 GbE, but no measured power or noise and no 0-100 expert score.
Speeds come from a private blog (blog.pastwind.org, 1 May 2026) on a 64 GB K8 Plus, with a community fine-tune of Gemma 4 26B-A4B rather than a stock model; the author's own summary was written with Gemini. The Vulkan run showed unstable numbers at 32k context. GMKtec's spec line says 'supports up to 48 GB' but the shop sells a 64 GB build and TechRadar says up to 96 GB. TechRadar's page shows four stars in the byline and a schema.org rating of 4.5. TechRadar quotes 127 x 132 x 58 mm and 640 g; GMKtec states 132 x 125 x 58 mm and ~1,049 g including packaging. Memory speed source: GMKtec EU page: SO-DIMM x2 DDR5 5600 MT/s dual channel; 5600 MT/s x 128 bit = 89.6 GB/s.
