- #17 of 18 AMD machines
Why this score
The score adds up these parts. Each part has a weight. A part counts as the average of its sources, pulled toward 80 when there are few sources.
AI power
50% weightcounts as 73.0Average of 2 sources: 69.5
Experts
30% weightcounts as 79.5Average of 2 sources: 79.2
Users
20% weightcounts as 84.3Average of 1 source: 88.5
Good: 3 reviews and buyer ratings.
80 is the field average. A part counts as 80 + (average − 80) × N ÷ (N + 1), where N is its number of sources. One source counts half of the gap from 80. No sources count as 80.

- GPU memory
- 48 GBDerived from AMD's Variable Graphics Memory, which extends the GPU's dedicated allocation to up to 75% of system RAM on Ryzen AI 300 series (AMD blog; 75% of 64 GB = 48 GB). GMKtec only says GPU memory is allocated automatically and can be set manually in the BIOS, with no maximum stated, and AMD's wording does not name the HX 470 explicitly. Windows figure; no Linux figure documented.

Notes
Tiny 0.75 L box with 64 GB of soldered memory and a Radeon 890M; only about 100 GB/s of bandwidth (slower than the older 32 GB model) and a GPU share that is not documented by GMKtec limit it to small and mid-size models. OCuLink and USB4 allow an eGPU, but memory cannot be upgraded.
Memory type and speed conflict between GMKtec pages: the EVO-X1 HX 370 page lists the 64 GB 'X1 Pro HX470' as LPDDR5X-8500 (shown as 8000 MT/s because of a platform limit), while the dedicated X1 Pro page, The Gadgeteer, TechRadar and PC Watch say LPDDR5-6400 (TechRadar calls it LPDDR5X-6400). 6400 MT/s on a 128-bit bus (102.4 GB/s) is used; at 8000 it would be 128 GB/s. Scores and power: TechRadar 4.75/5, the Notebookcheck review and lon.tv's 8.4 W idle all test the original 32 GB HX 370 EVO-X1 (LPDDR5X-7500), not the 64 GB HX 470 unit. Notebookcheck's 72% (rating box, read with a fetch tool) is also for the original 32 GB HX 370 EVO-X1. Volume: this 64 GB model is 107 x 111 x 63 mm; the candidate list's 0.76 L (11.0 x 10.8 x 6.4 cm) is the original EVO-X1. GPU memory is derived from AMD's Variable Graphics Memory rule (up to 75% of RAM on Ryzen AI 300 and later): 75% x 64 GB = 48 GB.
