Variation 'R9-8945HS 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD' (SKU GMA8MAX-R98945HS-321-EU-D1) on the shop's 'A8 Max - DE' listing: regular price equals sale price at EUR 1,099, in stock, read through the shop's store API; no discount applied. Delivery to Austria not confirmed: geekom.de says free delivery within Germany and does not name Austria. The main A8 Max listing shows a 16 GB Ryzen 7 8745HS build at EUR 839 (was 1,049), under the 16 GB floor.

Windows' documented limit for system memory used by graphics (Microsoft, 'Calculating Graphics Memory') is MIN(80% of RAM, MAX(RAM - 16 GB, 50% of RAM)) = 16 GB on 32 GB of RAM. No BIOS UMA maximum for this box was found, so the Windows figure is used. Tuned Linux GTT is not used: a GMKtec NucBox K8 Plus (same Radeon 780M) with 64 GB ran a 26B model with amdgpu.gttsize=49152 (48 GB) and ttm.pages_limit=12582912 (blog.pastwind.org).

Notes
Larger, well-built 0.84 L box with two USB4 ports, dual 2.5 GbE and replaceable DDR5-5600, so it can take more RAM later; the Radeon 780M and about 90 GB/s limit it to small and mid-size models, and it is clearly audible under load.
Notebookcheck reviewed the Ryzen 7 8845HS / 32 GB / 1 TB unit and says the 8845HS and 8945HS are technically identical apart from clock speeds; the review is used for the Ryzen 9 build on that basis. Notebookcheck measures: idle 3.1 / 5.7 / 8.3 W, load 68.3 W average (97.7 W max), noise idle 24.1 dB(A), load 42.7 dB(A); its price line is EUR 849 direct at review time. The geekom.de shop has many duplicate A8 / A8 Max listings and only some variations are retrievable; other 32 GB builds (R7-8745HS, R7-8845HS 32 GB, R9 2 TB) were not priced. The 16 TOPS NPU is the figure Notebookcheck gives for the 8845HS in its GEM12 review (search excerpt). Release month taken from the Notebookcheck review date (22 Apr 2025).
