Why this score
The score adds up these parts. Each part has a weight. A part counts as the average of its sources, pulled toward 80 when there are few sources.
Setup
35% weightcounts as 82.4Average of 3 sources: 83.2
Experts
40% weightcounts as 72.3Average of 1 source: 64.7
Users
25% weightcounts as 80.0No sources found yet. No data yet. This part counts as 80.
Thin: only 1 review or buyer rating, so it is pulled toward the average.
80 is the field average. A part counts as 80 + (average − 80) × N ÷ (N + 1), where N is its number of sources. One source counts half of the gap from 80. No sources count as 80.

Notes
A 218 PPI 5K IPS at 180 Hz with single-cable 100 W charging and sharp text that suits coding. The tested unit had a darker right edge, a very reflective glossy coating, weak HDR and a Mac colour profile that looks different, and it has no webcam; Thunderbolt and KVM are not listed.
Brightness: the review says 600 nits sustained and DisplayHDR 600, with no SDR typical or measured value, so 600 is not a clean SDR-typical figure. Speakers: only the perforated version has them (poor quality); the standard version has none, so the no-speakers value is for the standard version. 180 Hz at 5K worked on a MacBook Pro M3 Pro although Kuycon only claims 60 Hz for M3 chips (iphonesoft). Release date not stated (review 4 Oct 2026). MacRumors forum owners report uneven colour uniformity and a reflective coating (search excerpt, forum posts not ratings).
