Why this score
The score adds up these parts. Each part has a weight. A part counts as the average of its sources, pulled toward 80 when there are few sources.
AI power

Users
20% weightcounts as 80.0No sources found yet. No data yet. This part counts as 80.
Thin: only 2 reviews and buyer ratings, so they are pulled toward the average.
80 is the field average. A part counts as 80 + (average − 80) × N ÷ (N + 1), where N is its number of sources. One source counts half of the gap from 80. No sources count as 80.

Notes
A 0.67 L Core Ultra 9 285H NUC with two Thunderbolt 4 ports and socketed SO-DIMMs that can take 96 GB, at only about 90 GB/s of DDR5 bandwidth and a modest Arc 140T. Notebookcheck measured a loud fan (peak 52.7 dB(A)) and a short power peak of 160 W.
Max memory: ASUS US spec page text reads 'max capacity 48GB' (probably per module), while Geizhals, Notebookcheck's launch news and SmartHouse say up to 96 GB. Speed: DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM or DDR5-6400 CSO-DIMM (ASUS); bw uses 5600 (89.6 GB/s; 102.4 GB/s with 6400 modules). Weight 0.66 kg kit / 0.68 kg mini PC (ASUS) vs 689 g (Geizhals) vs 690 g (Notebookcheck). Power: Notebookcheck measured a 160.6 W peak and about 71 W sustained stress load. Intel's Qwen3-30B-A3B speed run on its own 285H reference system was dropped. GPU memory uses the 57% share Intel documents; press figures for higher shares are in the GPU memory note.
